Packmantel

The most sustainable production method is to re-use materials. However, textiles are very difficult to re-use, as the countless fibre combinations result in a mix that is difficult to manufacture into new textiles. Moving blankets are one of the few examples where large quantities of textiles can be re-used.

The Packmantel thus consists of more than 90% regenerated materials. The textile is manufactured by a family business in Germany. Because of their special processing the textile is very hard-wearing, can be washed properly and is long-lasting. The buttons are made from 100% recycled PP, manufactured by Kunststoffschmiede. The coat is a unisex and one-size model. It is handmade in Berlin in a limited edition series. Thus each piece is a distinctive one-of-a-kind.
