Craftocene Baskets

The shape of these two baskets is based on the shapes of the selected metal elements from electronic waste. Hazelnut branches form a basic construction using holes and tension holes of the metal elements. This structure serves as a framework for weaving with wicker. The baskets are a symbiosis of the traditional technique of basket weaving and modern mass production.
